Dialogue and its culmination in mutual understanding is a catalyst for action. However, being the foundation of the advances that are being achieved, it is not realised in words, but in what becomes reality, in what is tangible for society in general and for particular communities that long for change.

It is under this vision that the Tropical Summit gains life, seeking to assume itself as a multi-actor forum that drinks from the urgency of compliance with 2030 Agenda to foster its true success. The harsh lessons of the past, evidenced in the many unfulfilled global agendas, underline the imperative that the 2030 deadline is not a distant point in the time horizon, but an imminent reality, which requires immediate attention as if it were a tomorrow.

The main objectives of Tropical Summit are thus to promote the transfer of knowledge, stimulate multidisciplinary collaboration and the involvement of stakeholders, and contribute to the co-creation and innovative projects, capitalizing and densifying existing initiatives and collaboration platforms for the rapid implementation of tangible and robust solutions.
