Guidelines for Presentations
Instructions for oral Presentations:
- Duration of oral presentations. Each oral presentation has a 10-minute duration, plus 3 minutes for discussion.
- Do not exceed your time. To facilitate room transitions between presentations and sessions, session chairs are requested to maintain strict time management.
- Format. You may use a digital presentation (Powerpoint) or not. The conference rooms are equipped with a projector, a pointer and a computer running Windows (only Windows). It will not be possible to use your own computer. If you're using PowerPoint presentations without animations, it is often advisable to export them to PDF format and use the PDF version.
- Arrive in the room 10 minutes in advance. Please ensure you arrive at your session room at least 10 minutes before its scheduled start. This will provide sufficient time for you to meet and coordinate with your session chair and familiarize yourself with the equipment in your session room.
Guidelines for poster presentations:
- There is no need to print your poster. The poster presentations will have digital support.
- Poster presentation. You will have a scheduled time to present your poster at your designated station, with a 3-minute pitch to briefly present and discuss your work.
