1. Bairro Árabe Walk - a guided walking tour about the rich muslim, arab and amazigh heritage of Lisbon by Hajer Khader

This 5-hectare garden was founded in 1906 under the name Colonial Garden to support teaching and research in tropical agriculture. With a vast collection of tropical plants, the important collection of economically significant plants deserves special mention, as well as the remarkable collection of cycads. It is classified as a National Monument.

2. Tropical Botanical Garden

Guided by Professor Manuel Malfeito, we’ll explore wines from various regions of Portugal, savoring the flavors and traditions that each terroir has to offer. Join us for this exclusive event, where we’ll celebrate the richness of Portuguese winemaking and deepen our appreciation for wine in a relaxed and engaging setting.

4. Herbaria and zoological collections

"The exhibition, designed and coordinated by historian Isabel Castro Henriques, aims to present the lines of force of Portuguese colonialism in Africa in the 19th and 20th centuries. Its objectives are to deconstruct the myths created by colonial ideology, decolonize Portuguese imaginaries and contribute, in a pedagogical and accessible way, to a renewal of knowledge about the Portuguese colonial issue."
